Dorian (née Salomé Block) served as Editor of The McMurry University Wark Hawk Herald from 2013-2015 and a Staff Writer from 2011-2012. This publication “is the official newspaper for the greater McMurry University community. It is published biweekly by students under the auspices of the Office of University Relations The War Hawk Herald Editorial Advisory Board, consisting of students, faculty, and administrators works together with student editors and writers to determine editorial policy and content. Dorian has been actively writing since 2005 creating all forms of literature from screenplays to novels, short stories, and poetry. Studying English in college he added sonnets, narrative poems, and other traditional fixed forms to his folio. His short story, The Time Traveler's Daughter, will be published in the upcoming 2020 ClexaCon Anthology by SapphireBooks Publishing. He currently has a chapbook in line for publishing, a short story in line for publishing in an anthology, and is busy at work editing three novels in varying genres of fiction. Dorian is an avid blogger for MaeBerry Cosplay contributing monthly content as well as editing and managing 3-5 guest writers per year. He also blogs on occasion for the companies that he has worked for including New Mexico United, Homewise, and Opportunity Santa Fe. Technical Writing
Dorian’s (née Salomé’s) position paper won an international award at the 2014 National Model United Nations Conference in Rome, Italy detailing his proposed solution to addressing international human rights issues in the General Assembly 3rd Committee from the position of Argentina. He also worked tirelessly throughout this and other NMUN conferences drafting resolutions from all different standpoints and in varying languages compiling them into single cohesive documents which were accepted by the pseudo governing bodies into which they were submitted:
