UByKotex
You know i love UByKotex ads if you saw my Typography blog. This ad features the product's bright colors by setting it in contrast to a black background which is inherent of their branding. The white messaging text and the ombre pink to orange text are vivid in contrast to this background as well. The grouping and repetition of the sequence of product images is ideally placed to point to the text which flows you through the rest of the ad creating harmony.
Toyota
This Toyota ad utilizes an asymmetrical balance using curves within the photos to flow through from the contrasting left side of the ad to the right, marrying these two offset settings together while effectively moving the viewer's eye through the ad. The figures in the ad also act as an arrow, pointing to this movement. The type contrast offset in the ad is also balanced creating an off centered focal point and in two different colors mirroring the photo's colors.
Dove Chocolate
The figure in this image is placed on the left creating a pensive and nostalgic atmosphere. It is set against a contrasting background of water on the beach rolling into sand which cuts the ad in two. I love how the messaging is handled in this campaign against buying bears and opting for chocolate instead. There is a clear audience (i.e. single females alone on Valentines Day) and I think this ad effectively caters to them without shaming them for that fact.
