Red

The use of red in this advertisement shows the courage that is gained by using the product. Paired with the format of storyboard the illusion of movement effectively increases the heart rate, blood pressure and stimulates brain wave activity to give off the effect of being in the ensuing action. It further depicts the exciting lifestyle one could have through use of this cologne.


Blue

The blue block of color in contrast to the black and white of this advertisement gives off a professional air. In conjunction with the horse, an animal known for steadfast loyalty, the blue mirrors these qualities. The feeling of power when wearing this product is effectively communicated through the use of this color.


Gold

The use of gold in this advertisement drives home the product's quality. Through bursts of gold in stark contrast to the black background the audience gets the impression that, by owning this product, they will not only possess a symbol of wealth but will also seem sophisticated by association with the brand.
