Go with the Flow

Prompt: Create an ad for any product you choose. Use any technique you like to create a flow in your document – be sure it is obvious!

I chose a binder from G.Nile as my product. While GC2B tends to be the favored brand among trans-masculine individuals who bind, I prefer G.Nile for the ease of removal and variety of colors. (To be honest, heather was really the selling point.) I couldn't decide between the two advertisement designs I created so I've uploaded both below with a description of the flow elements I used:

Flow Design 1

This advertisement utilizes a variety of content elements arranged strategically to keep the eye moving within the layout following a pathway with the model's walking direction and line of sight into the product itself encouraging circulation within the ad towards the future. By ending with the logo at the bottom it avoids a visual landslide off the page instead engaging the viewer to follow the elements until their eyes rest on the "sell" via brand recognition.

Flow Design 2

This advertisement directs visual flow much like a wave using the eye catching curve within the product image itself to direct the viewer's eye upward without sending it off the page. The text compliments this angle by also following that linear motion with all elements moving the viewers eye in the same direction to end at the logo of the company.
